Welcome to the website for Sweet Home ALApaca!

This site is currently "Under Construction".  Expected completion date is November 1!

Sweet Home ALApaca is focused on quality genetics and champion bloodlines. Our 40 acre farm is located in northern Alabama approximately one hour north of Birmingham and one hour south of Huntsville on beautiful Sand Mountain. We pride ourselves in the abundance of research, networking, and success we have experienced in this amazing industry. We offer a full service Alpaca Institute hosting an array of experienced and knowledgeable speakers from the alpaca world; a full boarding service specializing in nutritional excellence with only the highest standards of care to include full range sales networking, if desired; and purchase options, not only from our selection, but from some of the most established and respected alpaca farms in the country! Let us know what you are looking for and we will help you find it at no cost to you. You see, we believe in the alpaca industry. This business is now known for being the most stable livestock industry available!

We love to host farm visits and tours! Our annual National Alpaca Farm Day is known for celebrating with over 300 guests giving them the opportunity for hands-on learning!  Guests get to try their hands at fleece spinning and needle felting, not to mention explore our wonderful store! Homeschool groups are also welcome! Bring the kiddos and teach them geography, history and industry! A great day for a picnic on the farm with the alpaca!  Scouting groups are also welcome. We have the ability to work toward many achievements and merit badges in the program; for we are not strangers to scouting!

Whether you are looking for your next alpaca, wanting to start into the industry, or are curious and think the alpacas are just cute, give us a call! Pam keeps her heart in with the pulse of the alpaca industry by serving as an Officer on the Deep South Alpaca Connection's Board of Directors, the Southern affiliate for AOBA representing alpaca owners in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi.  If we don't know the answers, we certainly will help you find them! :o)

Enjoy the website! Hopefully, it will help answer questions and guide you on your journey ~ whatever, it may be!
